Assistant Director​​

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate leader to manage the daily operations of our service, drive a high-performance culture, build and maintain strong and respectful relationships and support the continuous improvement of our growing organisation. As the Assistant Director you will be empowered to make decisions, lead positive change, support and mentor our team and foster professional development opportunities, develop our QIP and evaluate the implementation of our program, policies, and procedures in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.  


People, Culture and Compliance Leader

This is a new and exciting opportunity for a People Leader to join a motivated and high performing organisation to design, develop and implement strategies that will attract, engage, and develop our team and build on our high-performance culture. As the People, Culture and Compliance Leader you will lead change, implement new practices, and develop strong foundations for the organisation’s growth and success - keeping things personal. You will be responsible for the human resource functions of the organisation, in addition to well-being, performance management, and all things ‘people’.  Ideally you have some experience in Early Childhood Education, however, this is not essential, the most important thing is your ability to work collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes for the organisation, especially the children entrusted to our care.

Qualified Educators

We are looking for a range of qualified Certificate III and Diploma educators to join our new service from March 2022. Being an educator at Discover My World is an opportunity to work collaboratively and be actively engaged in making a difference in the lives of the children entrusted to our care. We are looking for educators to develop and implement stimulating and age-appropriate programs and experiences to support the development and goals of the children. You will be supported and encouraged to create a range of rich Reggio Emilia inspired environments to foster play-based learning, inquiry, and imagination. Embedding and contributing to our inclusive practises and our reflective way of doing things will provide you with the inspiration and opportunity to be your best. Early Childhood Teachers &

Educational Leaders

We are excited to welcome a range of Early Childhood Teachers and Educational Leaders to our new service in North Kellyville. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in driving the educational program ensuring it is effective in catering to the needs, abilities and interests of all children within our service. Your key responsibility will be to ensure our program and planning cycle are effectively implemented to enhance the engagement and learning of the children. This will be achieved through opportunities to work collaboratively with our leaders and educators, reflect critically on all aspects of your practise, mentor your fellow educators, implement projects, build environments, and monitor children’s goals and milestones. Another significant part of your role is to build strong relationships and ensure the highest quality of communication with parents and our wider community, as well as contribute to and promote our culture of professional inquiry. Trainees - Certificate III / Diploma

We are seeking applications for educators who are willing to obtain a Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care. Our Trainee program will offer you a strong foundation to a successful career in early childhood education. We will provide you with mentoring and coaching to support your learning and development, while being part of a passionate and supportive team. Service Cooks

We are looking for a small team of experienced, organised, and energetic service cooks to join our new service in North Kellyville. We are looking for passionate cooks who enjoy working collaboratively and with children - our kitchen has been purposefully designed for children to interact with and be a part of our meal preparation and meal service. We believe that this collaborative approach instils in children a deeper understanding of healthy eating practises and a positive engagement with food. As one of our ​Service Cooks, your role is to understand and uphold the requirements for nutritious and healthy meals for children, hygiene practises as well as the administration tasks including conducting temperature checks or ordering and rotating food as required. The added bonus of this role is that our service is BRAND NEW, presenting an opportunity for you to be actively involved in decision making and contributing to the set up and processes we embed – we would love our cooks to add their own flavour and be a valued member of our service.
